Music and the arts are central to how we worship and reflect the seasons of the church year.
Rooted in a rich tradition of choral and liturgical expression, our worship services are thoughtfully crafted and deeply meaningful.
Ways to Be Involved
Chancel Choir
Our Chancel Choir leads worship weekly, offering traditional choral music that enriches our services with depth and beauty. This group is central to our music ministry and is ideal for those who are passionate about high-quality, sacred choral music.
Children’s Choir
Children’s Choir meets in two seasonal sessions—six weeks in the fall and six weeks in the spring—and shares musical offerings in worship around Advent and Easter. All children are welcome to participate, regardless of experience.
Handbell Choir
For those looking for a shorter-term commitment, our Handbell Choir offers a seasonal opportunity to make music in worship. This group rehearses and plays for a few weeks at a time, typically around special services.
Instrumental Music
Throughout the year, we incorporate instrumental ensembles and guest musicians into worship and special events. These moments add richness and variety to our services, especially during holidays and festival Sundays.
Seasonal Arts & Worship
Worship at Weatherly is enhanced by the visual arts, particularly during the seasons of Advent and Lent. A team of volunteers helps prepare the sanctuary space with meaningful visuals and decorations. Our pastor has also introduced new ways of using the altar table as a central part of the worship experience.
Children’s Productions
In addition to our Children’s Choir, kids have the opportunity to participate in special productions throughout the year that blend music, storytelling, and the themes of the church calendar.
